VIEWING FOOTNOTES AND ANNOTATIONS
Overview: <View Footnotes/Annotations command>
To open a footnotes/annotations pane:
■ Choose View Footnotes/Annotations.
Word marks the Footnotes/Annotations command
on the menu when the footnotes/annotations pane
is open.
To format footnotes and annotations:
■ Format text and reference marks in the
footnotes/annotations pane as you would format
text in a document window.
■ For information on how to change the
<automatic style> of a footnote, see
Chapter 28, "Style Sheets."
■ To move the cursor between the document window
and the footnotes/annotations pane, press F6.
■ To close the footnotes/annotations pane:
Choose View Footnote (Alt,V,F).
